Officers John Fink and Jeremy Puhac of the Brunswick (OH) Police Department were called to assist animal control officers who were unable to free a deer entangled in a soccer net. The officers arrived at the scene to find that the deer had dragged the net off the playing field, and behind some houses, in an attempt to free itself. The officers quickly worked with residents form the nearby area to detangle the net - using tree-trimming equipment to cut the netting loose from the animal's antlers. Wyoming County (NY) Sheriff Gregory Rudolph was driving to work when a man began to tailgate him, flashing his lights. Sheriff Rudolph pulled over to see if the other driver needed assistance. That's when Rudolph came under attack. The driver—identified as 48-year-old Lynn Hall—exited his vehicle, approached Rudolph, and reportedly attempted to get the sheriff's gun. A Buffalo News newspaper delivery driver, John “Jack” Harzynski, subsequently intervened, helping Rudolph to take Hall into custody. Megan O'Grady came up with the idea for "Blue Line Bears" after the 2016 ambush in Dallas in which five officers were shot and killed. So far, she has delivered 450 bears to law enforcement families in 31 states. A young woman wanted to do something for the friends and family of Officer Heath Gumm, the Adams County (CO) Deputy who was killed in the line of duty just under a year ago. Officers with the Little Rock (AR) Police Department effected a high-risk felony stop of a man reported to be armed, holding his 1-year-old daughter hostage in a small SUV.  "Don't do this with your baby," one officer said in the video. Police said 43-year-old Farris Deloney had shot at the baby's mother during an argument over custody at a nearby Walmart.
