Country Music Star Miranda Lambert Marries NYPD Officer In Secret Ceremony

New York Police Officer Brendan McLoughlin married Miranda Lambert in a private ceremony in January.

Davidson County, TN – Country singer Miranda Lambert married a New York police officer in a secret ceremony in January, she announced in a social media post on Saturday.

“In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news,” Lambert wrote. “I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for….me.”

She also shared photographs from their wedding ceremony, which took place in Tennessee on Jan. 26, 2019, E! News reported.

Lambert’s news shocked her fans, who had no idea that Lambert was even in a relationship, let alone that she had married the New York Police Department (NYPD) officer.

Officer McLoughlin is also the father of a 3-month-old baby from a previous relationship – making Lambert a new stepmother, People reported.

Officer McLoughlin serves with the NYPD’s Midtown South Precinct, which has featured him in several Twitter posts dating back to mid-2015.

One photo showed the uniformed officer posing with K9 Kybo at a doggy diving event, while another showed him chatting with a citizen in Times Square.

He won the first-place trophy during a memorial 5K race in 2015, according to another tweet by the precinct.

In a 2018 post, he was hailed by his precinct for apprehending a suspect during a back robbery in progress.

Lambert, 35, was previously married to country music star Blake Shelton, but their four-year marriage ended in divorce in 2015, Entertainment Tonight reported.

After dating Turnpike Troubadours’ singer Evan Felker for six months, Lambert announced in August of 2018 that she was “happily single,” The Tennessean reported.

“Love is a hard road sometimes and it’s been a roller-coaster ride for me, but I’m definitely thankful for all the ups and downs because I’ve had some really good songs come out of it,” she said at the time. “You’ve got to take the bad parts and put them on paper and then move on to the happy parts.”

Congratulations Miranda and Officer Brendan! Best wishes on this wonderful journey, as you build your new lives together. Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness, and may the years ahead be filled with lasting joy!!!
