Hero Down - Ohio State Trooper Alison Holmbren Dies Of Childbirth Complications - Blue Lives Matter
Ashtabula, OH – Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) Trooper Alison Holmgren, 38, sadly passed away following the birth of her second daughter, due to childbirth complications on Feb. 19, according to the patrol retirees’ association.
The little girl was born healthy, with no issues as the result of her birth.
Further details regarding the trooper’s sudden passing have not been released, and her family has requested privacy in the wake of their loss, the Ohio State Association posted to its website.
Trooper Holmgren graduated from the OHSP training academy in 2014, and was a member of the 155th Academy Class, according to an OSHP Facebook post.
